Amazon Books, we will reimburse employees up to $50.00 per book. We will not reimburse the books that fall into the categories of fictions, graphics novels, art magazines, or any other categories deemed unrelated to professional development. Please refer to the ‣. Reimbursed books can be related to the following topics:
Conferences, Polarr will cover 100% of the costs for any conferences that the company requests team members to attend.
Polarr will sponsor up to 70% of the cost/fees for each full time team member to attend 2 conferences of their choice per year that have a duration of 4 days or less**.**
Eligible Expenses include:
These conferences must be related to improving your work at Polarr, thus we won't sponsor conferences for gaming/movies/pr/product-release/entertainment unrelated to advancing your work at Polarr. **A write up/KB article/internal workshop on the conference will be required within a month after you finish said conference.**Conference participation dates won't be counted against your paid time-off.
Polarr Scholarship, for full time team member who wish to go to high education related to his or her professional work in Polarr (Graduate School, Master Programs, Online-degrees, Summer camps, Week-long workshops, Language Education, excluding PhDs and MBAs) while still able to maintain working at Polarr full-time. Polarr will sponsor 70% of the tuition fee portion of such program. Note that such programs might need board approval depending on program details, ask @Borui Wang for more details.
Please note that Polarr will pay for 100% of above mentioned fee if the request is made by Polarr but not the employee. (For example if Polarr decided that it would be beneficial for an employee to take a class or go to a conference)
PTO: All full time team members are eligible for 20 days of paid vacation per year in addition to major national holidays in your country of work. Please review the detailed time off policy and reporting procedure at ‣
Internet: Polarr will reimburse all full time team members the monthly cost of your home internet plan up to a maximum of $100.00 per month. Please note that the reimbursement is for internet service only and does not cover any services that may be bundled with your home internet (e.g. phone, TV, etc.). Please follow the reimbursement policy/process outlined here.
Gym: Polarr will reimburse all full time team members up to $100.00 per month for a gym membership in your area. Please follow the reimbursement policy/process outlined here.
Meals: Polar will reimburse all full time team members for reasonable and eligible lunch expenses. The guidelines for this program are outlined here:
Please use your best judgement when reporting your lunch expenses. The meal reimbursement perk is designed for the benefit of the team member. To improve operational efficiency, please submit all meal related expenses at the end of the month following the process outlined in ‣. As a reminder, receipts must be included with all expense reports. Expense reports without documentation will not be approved. Upon request, you may qualify for a reimbursement for grocery costs if you prefer to prepare your meals rather than order take out.
